Abstinenssiklubi

    

Ensimmäinen Rubies-Klubit koskaan oli Abstinenssiklubi maaliskuussa 2015 - täyttämään tyhjää olotilaa, burleski-abstinenssia, hetkeä aiemmin vietettyjen burleskifestivaalien jälkeen. Syyskuussa 2020 burleski-abstinenssi on mahdollisesti jopa vielä konkreettisempi tilanne, koronakevään, poikkeustilojen ja -olojen jäljiltä, ja näin ollen olemme äärimmäisen riemuissamme kyetessämme jälleen kerran tarjoamaan teille ABSTINENSSIKLUBIN. Kyllä, sellaisen livetapahtuman, missä oikeat ihmiset ovat lavalla ja oikeat ihmiset istuvat metrien päässä (turvavälit toki yhä huomioiden!) katsomossa, muistatteko? Juuri sellaisen!

Illan aikana, kuten silloin ennenkin, nautitaan rennosta tunnelmasta, loistavasta burleski- ja dragviihteestä ja tanssijalkaa vipattavasta musiikista. Klubille on helppo tulla, mutta sieltä on hankalampaa lähteä!

Pääsitkö jo virtuaaliklubien ja olohuonekabareiden makuun, vai onko Helsinki liian kaukana? Fear not, ratkaisemme tämänkin striimaamalla klubin livelähetyksenä verkossa niille, jotka syystä tahi toisesta mieluummin nauttivat burleskinsa kotisohvalta käsin! Lisäinfoa streamista ja streamlippuja saat elokuun puolella, mutta lipun liveklubille voit napata vaikka heti!

Tapahtuma järjestetään Pasilan Veturitalleilla, kivenheiton päässä Triplasta.

The Shangri-La Summer Show

It´s time for the annual Summer show from everyone working and training at Studio Shangri-La! This time we also have an international starlet from Moscow on stage! Tix can be bought from Holvi, be sure to grab yours! I´ll be bringing my Tribute to Dirty Dancing to Sture21- long time, no see ;)

Weekend happenings

This upcoming weekend there will be at least two clubs that I´m aware of that you guys should attend to!!! Friday in Hellsinki the Ravishing Shangri-La Rubies are organizing their club at Café Mascot, this time as Fabulöösiklubi and on Saturday there´s the monthly Teerenpeli Tease Glittertribe!

Both clubs will feature the fantastic Miss Knockout Noire from Norway!!! I met her at the Stockholm Burlesque Festival last October and let me tell you she is both lovely and talented <3

As life is what it is and my schedule a bit crazy at the moment I´m missing both clubs... Friday I´m attending Yannis Marshall´s high heels-dance class in Tampere and on Saturday I´m shaking my tail feathers with Pepper at a private gig. SO YOU SHOULD GO and tell me all about it!

This Saturday is THE day for all you folks who LOVE leopardprint! Also since International Leopard Day is just around the corner this is a very proper evening to celebrate dots!
 As you may have noticed, it is probably my favourite colour (yes, it IS a colour! ;) and I´ll be shaking with my Daisies on stage at Café Mascot with a bunch of purr-lesque people in well...Yeah you guessed it: leopardprint!

Happy International Women´s Day!

Today we celebrate everyone who is, want to be or feels like a woman! So congrats my darlings, enjoy your day and I hope we all will get pampered!
Last nights gig at the Kouvola hippodrome was one of a kind, thank you organizers and audience! A very special and fun place to perform! I have never been to a hippodrome before, nor actually see the horses race live -nor performed in one! so it was a first for me.

Tonight you people are sooo spoiled, in Tampere there is the Teerenpeli Tease Hollywood edition with none other than the Queen of the Quake from Californa: Kitten de Ville herself headlining! Other lovelies on stage include Holy Curves!, Albine A. Dorable, Olivia Rouge, Kiki Hawaiji, Miss Magpie and Molly Moonstone.  MC is the one and only mr. Lafayette Lestrange! 

In Hellsinki you can go to the Speakwasy party held at the Helsinki Casino where the Ravising Shangri-La Rubies will take you back to the roaring 1920´s!
So really folks, you have no excuses :)  I do...I have a HUGE pile of papers I need to correct as soon as I finish my morning coffee and get my hot yoga done. Boom, there´s a showgirls´ Saturday for you haha!
