Lahti Pride´14

Hello good people!
Another week has passed, it seems that Winter (definetly maybe) caught up with us, which is a nice thing. You can remind me that I said that in march when the snow seems never-ending... :)
Usually the Pride-festivities are organized in the Summer but the city of Lahti makes a nice exception of the "rule"having it in February! Me, Lola Vanilla and (at least some part of) The Finnish Blonde Burlesque Troupe are happy -and pround! to be a part of their ending party on Saturday the 1st of Feb at Tivoli in Lahti-city! So if you are around, come support a good cause and say hello! Information here and they also have a facebook page for the party.
Tomorrow it´s a roadtrip to Turku for a fantastic wedding, I hope ya´ll have a great weekend <3

Weekend shenanigans

Last weekend was filled with friends and sunshine. I got to try clownery at Mascha de Bordeaux's bachlorette party with Minna Kiveläs teachings... And as much as I love making an ass of myself at times I will leave clownery to people who can do it :) But it was fun! Now I suffer from a slight dose of insomnia, shall leave you with pictures (that I will tag tomorrow). Good night (hopefully)!

  Well, the civilian me is off for a few days thanks to "Autumn vacation" but that does not take the stress offa thangs... Here I am, slightly panic -y about appearance, moves and such since my first group-number is coming up in 3 days. Wish me luck! I do have the bestest girls with me <3

PinUp´s and beefcakes

I´ve been lying at home, sick with a cold and sinuses aching for days now so you can imagine the pleasure when I opened my e-mail and found these pictures! They were taken a few weeks back by the PinUpHelsinki-team ( Mentioned here ) and turned out fabulous!!! Not going to post *all* of them yet, have to have something to look forward to ;)

Really nice to see oneself looking pretty, since well- the last days "pretty" hasn´t been used in other contexts than "pretty awful cough" or "pretty bad fever". So thank you again Fiona, Miia and Saara!!!! <3

I hope I get all my juju back before the weekend since there´s a bachlorette-party of a dear friend coming up and also because I am a bit bored. As much as I love True Blood - watching season 4 in one sitting really ain´t that good for ya ...I´m driving my baby up the walls!

Last thoughts of a first day

Well, the photo shoot was fantastic! Despite a week of way too little sleep the ladies got me feeling - and looking- great even without using oil-based paint. Can´t wait for the final photos (this one is taken with my phone).

I have been trying to learn how to do vintage hair and make-up...sometimes I nail it, a lot of the times I     

don´t... so I take all the help I can get. There´s some great books out there, like this one I got at Fast ´n´Loud last week...wish I had more time in the mornings! It was a real learning experience today to see some true professionals at work. Thanks again Fiona, Saara and Miia!!!!

One of the really fun things with this hobby is doing crazy photos! I love it! I´ve had the pleasure of working with Mr.Monaghan on a couple of occasions, here is one photo from the last shoot...inspired by Marilyn. Hope to do it again soon, cheers Adam :)

My honey gave me a great wedding-anniversary present this year: later today I get to have my pin up-photos taken by the lovely Pin Up Helsinki crew Saara Salmi, Fiona Timantti and Miia Magia! Can´t wait!!!!!
